By completing this exercise, you’ll be able to see how balanced your life is and how satisfied you are in life’s different areas.
For each area you can mark how satisfied you are with the quality and volume of time you are spending in this area, where 1 is closest to the centre of the circle and 10 is at the edge of the circle.
The categories included are a suggestion – if you want to change some or add your own – feel free!
Step 1 – Complete the Exercise
Grab the corners of the green square with your mouse and drag them to the score you want for a particular area. Complete for each of the areas and then print off the template when you’ve finished.
Step 2 – Reflection & Action
Reflect on your Life Balance – does it look as you expected? Are there any surprises in there? Are you where you want to be in specific areas? You can plot your desired end state on the diagram when you’ve printed it out to see where the areas are that you have the biggest gaps!

8 – 10
If you have scores of 8 to 10 for any of the categories, that’s great! Your satisfaction levels are high in these areas – keep maintaining what you are doing and look for opportunities to grow further.
5 – 7
If you have scores of 5 to 7 for any of the categories, you are moderately satisfied in these particular areas but there is definitely more you can do to improve your satisfaction levels and score higher.
0 – 4
If you have scores of 0 to 4 for any of the categories, you are not very satisfied in these particular areas. These are the areas for immediate attention and can be great to focus your goals around!
